Julia brings a unique blend of thought leadership and extensive operational experience in for-purpose organisations, having guided providers as they navigate new Government policy, ongoing reform, consumer-directed care models, and frequent changes to funding models. She has worked across State and Commonwealth funding models in Aged Care, NDIS, Mental Health, and Family Violence.

Her expertise spans people strategy and execution, major change, customer and employee experience, business strategy development and execution, as well as governance and operational management. She has provided subject matter expertise to the Aged Care Workforce Strategy Taskforce, Aged Care and Family Violence Royal Commissions, and Senate Enquiries into workforce challenges across the Disability and Aged Care sectors, and Family Violence. Through her business, ConsciousOrg, she shapes skills development plans for NFP Boards and convenes workshops for Directors following Boards’ governance evaluation assessments. She is very well networked through the NFP environment and regarded as a connector and influencer.

Julia has occupied senior roles in healthcare, life sciences, mental health, aged-care, disability, community health services and social assistance services, leading teams of up to 35 with operational budgets of $32M, in organisations up to 1,500+ people.
