Leesa is an accomplished Non-executive Director and consultant after a successful career as a Minister for Disabilities, Mental Health and Substance Abuse leading the $723M NDIS strategic decision making, delivery of service reform and transformation in South Australia with expertise in capital works to a value of $450M and highly regulated environments where ‘social license’ to operate is at risk from culture, clinical or systems failure.

Leesa is impact focused, data driven and enjoys contributing to smart commercial decision making focused on value generation, consumers, problem solving and innovation. Trained in health economics, health information management and business at the Queensland University of Technology, Leesa mentors startup founders at Stone & Chalk Adelaide where she sits on two MedTech startup advisory boards in the areas of machine learning and virtual reality. She is a mentor to women leaders in Vietnam, and Laos as a consultant to the Flinders University Gender Consortium and with the Cartier Women’s Initiative in Australia.
Leesa is an alumnus of the Australian Institute of Company Directors Chair’s Mentoring Programme.
